Publication Frequency

Athena: Journal of Social, Culture and Society is published four times per year (quarterly). Regular issues are scheduled for publication in January, April, July, and October.

The journal accepts manuscript submissions throughout the year. Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in an appropriate forthcoming issue after completion of peer review, revision, final editorial evaluation, and production.

ARTICLES PER ISSUE

Each regular issue normally publishes between 5 and 20 scholarly articles, depending on the number of manuscripts that successfully complete the editorial and peer-review process.

Article capacity does not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated according to their scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, research integrity, and the outcome of independent peer review.
