SAGA: Journal of Technology and Information Systems is published four times a year. Each issue is scheduled according to the journal's regular publication cycle to provide consistent and timely dissemination of scholarly research in technology, computing, and information systems.
SAGA publishes one regular issue in each of the following months:
First regular issue of the publication year.
Second regular issue of the publication year.
Third regular issue of the publication year.
Fourth and final regular issue of the publication year.
Manuscripts may be submitted to SAGA at any time throughout the year. The journal does not restrict manuscript submission to a specific issue or submission window.
Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in an appropriate forthcoming issue after all editorial, revision, production, metadata, proofreading, and publication requirements have been completed.
SAGA aims to process manuscripts efficiently while maintaining appropriate editorial and scholarly standards. The time required to reach an editorial decision may vary depending on factors such as reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, the extent of revisions required, and the number of review rounds.
An initial editorial or peer-review outcome is generally expected within approximately 1–2 months from the submission date. This timeframe is an estimate and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed deadline.
Once a manuscript has been accepted, publication timing depends on completion of final editorial checks, production preparation, and placement within the journal's publication schedule.
Authors do not need to wait for a specific issue to submit their manuscript. SAGA accepts submissions throughout the year, and accepted articles are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue according to editorial readiness and the journal's regular publication schedule.
