Copyright and License Policy

Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business applies an author-retained copyright model. Authors retain copyright in their published work, while articles are made available under an open Creative Commons license that clearly defines how published material may be reused.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright in articles published by Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business.

By submitting an accepted manuscript for publication, the author(s) grant the journal the right of first publication and authorize the journal and its publisher to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, archive, index, and make the article publicly available as part of the scholarly record.

Author Publishing Rights

Authors retain the right to use, share, distribute, reproduce, and archive their work in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license.

Authors may subsequently incorporate their published work into a thesis, dissertation, book, teaching material, institutional repository, or other scholarly work, provided that the original publication in Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business is appropriately acknowledged.

Where available, authors are encouraged to provide the article DOI and a link to the journal's Version of Record when reusing or redistributing the published article.

License

All articles published in Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) .

Under this license, users are permitted to:

Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

These permissions apply provided that users comply with the following conditions:

Third-Party Material

The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to original content published in the article unless otherwise indicated.

Material reproduced from third-party sources, including figures, photographs, tables, datasets, or other copyrighted content, may be subject to different copyright or licensing conditions.

Authors are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to reproduce copyrighted third-party material and for providing appropriate acknowledgment of the original source.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business permits authors to deposit and archive their manuscripts in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other appropriate open-access repositories.

Authors may archive:

The submitted version of the manuscript;
The accepted version of the manuscript; and
The final published Version of Record.

No embargo period is imposed by the journal on self-archiving.

When depositing the final published version, authors should acknowledge that the article was originally published in Apollo: Journal of Tourism and Business and should include the DOI and a link to the journal's Version of Record where available.

Relationship to Open Access
