No Article Processing Charge (APC)

The journal operates without an Article Processing Charge. Submission, editorial evaluation, peer review, revision processing, and publication of accepted articles are provided without publication charges to authors.

Fees Not Charged to Authors

Authors are not required to pay fees for the following journal services:

• Manuscript submission;
• Initial editorial screening;
• Peer-review processing;
• Revision processing;
• Article publication;
• Standard journal production and online publication;
• Reader access to published articles; or
• Manuscript withdrawal.

Manuscript Withdrawal

Authors may request withdrawal of a submitted manuscript by contacting the Editorial Office and providing the manuscript identification, title, reason for withdrawal, and confirmation from all authors where applicable.

No withdrawal fee is charged. Authors are nevertheless expected to avoid unnecessary withdrawal, particularly after substantial editorial or peer-review work has been completed. If withdrawal becomes necessary, authors should notify the journal as early as possible.

A manuscript is considered withdrawn only after the journal has acknowledged and confirmed the withdrawal request. Authors should not submit the same manuscript to another journal while it remains actively under consideration by Salus Publica: Journal of Community Service.

No Hidden or Additional Author Charges

Salus Publica: Journal of Community Service does not impose hidden, mandatory, or additional charges related to the standard submission, peer-review, editorial, publication, or withdrawal process. Any future change to the journal's author fee policy will be stated transparently on the journal website before it becomes applicable.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based solely on the manuscript's relevance to the journal's scope, scholarly quality, ethical compliance, and the outcome of the journal's double-blind peer-review process. Financial considerations do not influence manuscript acceptance or rejection.

No-Fee Open Access Publishing

The journal provides open access to published scholarly content without charging readers for access and without charging authors for standard publication. This approach supports broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge and reduces financial barriers to publication and access.
