SEMPOA: Journal of Mathematics and Mathematics Education is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original and significant research in the broad fields of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, computational mathematics, and mathematics education. Interdisciplinary studies are welcome when the mathematical or mathematics-education contribution is substantial and clearly articulated.

Manuscripts whose principal subject lies outside the journal's stated focus and scope may be declined during the initial editorial screening before external peer review.
