SEMPOA does not charge an article submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts to the journal without payment.
SEMPOA currently charges no Article Processing Charge (APC).
The publication fee is:
- Indonesian authors: IDR 0
- International authors: USD 0
SEMPOA does not currently impose additional mandatory charges on authors for:
- editorial processing;
- peer review;
- page length;
- colour figures;
- supplementary materials;
- DOI registration;
- copyediting;
- layout and typesetting;
- online publication.
Authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript by submitting a formal written request to the editorial office explaining the reason for withdrawal.
The withdrawal request should be submitted by the corresponding author with the agreement of all co-authors.
SEMPOA does not charge a manuscript withdrawal fee.
Authors are nevertheless expected to act responsibly when requesting withdrawal, particularly after peer review or acceptance, because substantial editorial and reviewer resources may already have been devoted to the manuscript.
A manuscript may normally be withdrawn before final acceptance after the corresponding author submits an appropriate written request. The editorial office will close the submission after confirming the withdrawal.
Withdrawal after formal acceptance should occur only for a legitimate and clearly explained reason.
Examples may include:
- discovery of a significant error affecting the reliability of the work;
- a serious ethical or legal concern;
- an unresolved authorship issue;
- another exceptional circumstance that makes publication inappropriate.
The editorial team may request additional clarification before completing the withdrawal. No financial penalty is imposed.
Authors should not request withdrawal in order to submit the same manuscript simultaneously to another journal while it remains under active consideration by SEMPOA.
Duplicate submission, deliberate concealment of concurrent submission, or other inappropriate publication practices may be handled under the journal's Publication Ethics and Research Integrity Policy.
Because SEMPOA currently charges no submission fee or publication fee, a fee-waiver programme is not necessary.
Financial considerations do not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, mathematical or methodological rigor, ethical compliance, relevance to the journal's scope, and independent peer review.
If SEMPOA introduces or modifies author charges in the future, the applicable fees, effective date, payment conditions, and any available waiver or discount arrangements will be clearly published on this page before the new charges take effect.
There are currently no mandatory author fees for publishing in SEMPOA.
Submission, peer review, editorial processing, DOI registration, publication, and online access are provided without charge to authors or readers.
