Authors are requested to read these guidelines carefully before submitting a manuscript to SaNa: Journal of Blockchain, NFTs and Metaverse Technology. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's basic submission requirements may be returned to the authors for technical revision before editorial evaluation.
Basic requirements that apply to all submitted manuscripts.
Manuscripts may be written in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is written clearly, consistently, and in appropriate academic language.
Research articles should normally be between 5 and 12 pages, including tables, figures, and references. Manuscripts exceeding 12 pages may be considered when the additional length is academically justified and approved by the editors.
Authors should prepare their manuscript using the official SaNa Article Template to ensure consistency with the journal's formatting and metadata requirements.
References must follow the IEEE citation style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use a reference management application such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote to improve citation accuracy and consistency.
Requirements concerning originality and responsible submission.
The manuscript must represent original scholarly work and must not have been published previously or be simultaneously under consideration by another journal or publication venue.
Authors must appropriately acknowledge and cite ideas, data, text, figures, methods, software, and other materials obtained from external sources. Redundant publication, plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, inappropriate image manipulation, and other forms of research or publication misconduct are not acceptable.

Recommended organization of research manuscripts.
The title should be concise, informative, and accurately represent the main subject of the study. As a journal formatting rule, the title should normally contain no more than 15 words. Avoid unnecessary abbreviations and acronyms.
Provide the full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author. Author information must be accurate and reflect the individuals who meet the journal's authorship and contributorship requirements.
The abstract should be approximately 100–150 words and should briefly communicate the research objective, methodology, principal findings, and conclusion. Citations should not normally appear in the abstract.
Provide relevant keywords that accurately represent the main concepts, methods, technologies, or research domain addressed by the manuscript. Keywords should support accurate discovery and indexing of the article.
Clearly describe the research background, problem, relevant literature, research gap, objective, and the principal contribution or novelty of the study.
Explain the research design, dataset or data source, experimental procedure, analytical method, system architecture, algorithm, evaluation metrics, or other procedures in sufficient detail to support scholarly assessment and reproducibility where applicable.
For computational or technical research, authors may provide a dedicated section describing the proposed framework, model, architecture, protocol, algorithm, smart contract, or system design.
Present the principal results clearly and provide an analytical interpretation of the findings. Where appropriate, compare the results with relevant previous studies or established methods and discuss implications, limitations, and practical significance.
Summarize the principal findings and contributions of the study without merely repeating the abstract. Limitations and appropriate directions for future research may also be stated.
Manuscripts should normally contain at least 15 relevant references. Authors should prioritize appropriate primary and peer-reviewed scholarly literature and ensure that every reference cited in the text appears in the reference list and vice versa.
Information required where relevant to the submitted research.
Authors should transparently identify their respective contributions to the research and preparation of the manuscript.
All financial support, grants, sponsorship, or other relevant funding sources should be disclosed. If no external funding was received, authors may state this explicitly.
Authors must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, or personal interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation.
Where applicable, authors should state whether the data underlying the study are publicly available, available from the corresponding author under appropriate conditions, or subject to legitimate ethical, legal, contractual, or privacy restrictions.
Research involving human participants, personal or confidential data, animals, or other activities requiring ethical oversight must provide the relevant approval, consent, or ethical information where applicable.
Authors must disclose relevant use of generative artificial intelligence or AI-assisted tools in accordance with the journal's AI Ethics and Procedure . AI tools must not be listed as authors.
Requirements for research objects accompanying the manuscript.
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively, cited in the manuscript, provided with clear captions, and be of sufficient quality for scholarly publication. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted materials when permission is required.
Datasets, source code, algorithms, smart contracts, models, supplementary files, or other research objects should be made available whenever appropriate and legally and ethically possible to support transparency and reproducibility.
What happens after a manuscript is submitted.
Submitted manuscripts are subject to an initial editorial assessment to determine their relevance to the journal's scope, basic scholarly quality, compliance with submission requirements, and suitability for further evaluation.
Manuscripts that proceed beyond the initial assessment are evaluated according to the journal's established peer-review procedure. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
