Authors are not required to pay a fee when submitting a manuscript to Renaissance.

Renaissance does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication are not required to pay a publication fee.

Renaissance currently does not charge mandatory fees for:

• Manuscript submission;
• Editorial processing;
• Peer review;
• Article publication;
• Page or length charges;
• Colour figures or illustrations;
• Standard article production; or
• Manuscript withdrawal.

Authors are therefore not required to make a mandatory payment to the journal as a condition of manuscript consideration, acceptance, or publication.

Renaissance does not impose a financial penalty or withdrawal fee when authors request withdrawal of a manuscript.

Authors requesting withdrawal should communicate with the editorial office so that the manuscript's editorial status can be formally recorded and the submission process appropriately closed.

Because Renaissance currently charges no mandatory author fees or APCs, a fee-waiver program is not applicable.

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly and editorial considerations and are independent of an author's financial status, institutional affiliation, nationality, or ability to pay.

The absence of author fees does not affect the journal's editorial screening, peer-review requirements, or criteria for publication.

If Renaissance introduces or changes any author fee in the future, the applicable amount, currency, purpose, and conditions will be clearly disclosed on the journal website before the charge applies to new submissions.

Authors will not be charged an undisclosed fee during the editorial or publication process.
