Renaissance: Journal of Indonesian Culture, Society and Communication

Renaissance: Journal of Indonesian Culture, Society and Communication is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly research on communication, media, culture, and society, with particular emphasis on Indonesia and its diverse social and cultural contexts.

The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for examining how communication practices, media systems, cultural identities, social transformations, and technological developments interact within Indonesian society. It also welcomes comparative studies connecting Indonesia with Southeast Asia and broader global contexts when they provide clear relevance to the journal's core areas.

The journal welcomes research in areas including communication and media studies, digital communication, journalism and broadcasting, public relations, strategic communication, social media, digital culture, cultural communication, intercultural communication, Indonesian culture and local wisdom, society and social change, language and communication, cultural heritage, creative industries, tourism communication, indigenous and customary communities, and technology and society.

Renaissance accepts manuscripts through Regular Submission and Conference Submission. Regular manuscripts may be submitted throughout the year by researchers, academics, practitioners, and students. Conference submissions may originate from conferences, seminars, symposiums, and other scholarly meetings.

All manuscripts, regardless of submission route, undergo the same editorial screening and peer-review process and must comply with the journal's requirements concerning originality, research ethics, authorship, copyright, and publication standards.
