DEMETER: Journal of Farming and Agriculture is a scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and knowledge across agricultural and farming sciences. The journal provides an interdisciplinary platform for research addressing agricultural production, sustainability, food systems, natural resource management, agricultural technology, and the socioeconomic dimensions of agriculture.

Journal Focus

DEMETER focuses on scientifically rigorous research that contributes to the development of productive, sustainable, resilient, and equitable agricultural systems. Particular attention is given to studies that address contemporary challenges in agriculture, including food security, environmental sustainability, climate change, technological innovation, resource efficiency, and the welfare of farming communities.

The journal welcomes disciplinary and interdisciplinary research connecting agricultural sciences with environmental science, biotechnology, economics, technology, education, rural development, and related fields where there is a clear and substantive connection to farming, agriculture, or food systems.
